Mar 12, 2024The Reading Carnival held in the second term this academic year was a resounding success, bringing together Form 2 and Form 4 students in an engaging celebration of reading and learning. During the dedicated Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Time in January, February and March, students immersed themselves in a collection of STEAM-related texts, exploring various topics about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, and establishing interdisciplinary connections. Form 4 students further enhanced their knowledge by designing mini reading games with interactive elements such as blind tasting, puzzles, matching, role playing and categorising, for their Form 2 little sisters in the Reading Carnival. The event not only empowered students to showcase their creativity and application of knowledge, but also promoted interdisciplinary learning and cultivated leadership as well as collaboration among students.
