During the summer holidays in 2023, our students painted an amazing mural at our school entrance to celebrate our school’s 75th Anniversary with our school motto “Through Charity To Truth”. The image was designed by our past student, Angel Woo, a graduate of 2017. In the mural, a girl in school uniform is sailing through the rose garden to reach the window and this symbolises the “truth” that our Rosians are pursuing. The image of the boat floating in the sky is borrowed from the school badge, which represents that we can ride the wave and overcome challenges. The roses in the bushes metaphorise Rosians who were once part of our big family - they are always with us in this journey to truth. We also painted the grey pillars in the foreground. They deceive our eyes into believing that the painting is a scene that we can view from the balcony.
The painters were Cherry Lam of F.3A, Tanya Chan of F.3C, Elen Choi, Constance Lee and Vicky Tang of F.4D, Betty Li of F.6C, and also our past student, Angel Woo.
