 Class Allocation and Grouping System

In the Junior Forms, Form 1 to Form 3 will adopt the Grouping System; Form 2 and Form 3 students are allocated to their classes based on their annual average marks in the last academic year: the students who obtain the highest scores will be allocated to “A” Class while others will be evenly distributed in the other four classes. The allocation of Form 1 students depends on their performance in the Streaming Test and the " Pre-Secondary One Hong Kong Attainment Test ".

A Grouping System is introduced in Form 1 to Form 3 to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching in the core subjects.

Arrangements for Medium of Instruction

Since the Education Bureau (EDB) implemented the medium of instruction guidelines for secondary schools in 1998 and our school was assessed as an English Secondary School, our school’s medium of instruction (MOI) policy has been adopted since then. The fine-tuning of the MOI implemented by the Education Bureau in 2010 has had no impact on the MOI policy of our school. Our school does not need to make any changes regarding the fine-tuning of the MOI policy, and the school will continue to offer all subjects in English in all classes (except for Chinese Language, Putonghua, Chinese History, Religious Education, and Moral and Civic Education).
