Measures to cater for learner diversity

  • Elite past students or senior form students are invited to share their learning experiences and effective study techniques to other students to help them evaluating their current study strategies and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Interesting teaching and learning activities are incorporated during science lessons with the implementation of BYOD scheme. More students-students and teachers-students discussions are conducted through e-learning or experimental activities so that students should be able to learn science knowledge and clarify their misconceptions effectively.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in different types of on-site visits, talks and competitions which are organized by our school, local universities or different organizations so that they explore and learn more science knowledge in different ways but not just through normal lessons.
  • Extra tutorial lessons are arranged for senior form students regularly to help them better prepare for the HKDSE. Our subject teachers always conduct individual tutorials for students which aims to help them understanding some difficult concepts.
  • Questions with suitable levels of difficulty are chosen in setting assignments to cater for learner diversity and enhance students' understanding of various science concepts.
