Dear students, parents, teachers, colleagues, friends, and fellow Rosians,
It brings me great joy to welcome you all back, refreshed, recharged, and rejuvenated, for another promising academic year. I would also like to extend a warm welcome to all students, teachers, and staff joining the Rosian community for the first time in 2025–2026. Your presence brings new energy and perspectives to our school family.
I would like to take this opportunity to commend our teachers for their dedication and hard work, which have enabled our students to achieve outstanding results in HKDSE 2025. Your unwavering commitment is deeply appreciated.
Whilst academic excellence is important, our school is equally a place for holistic development. We encourage every student to participate in extra-curricular activities, and to nurture both their mental and physical wellbeing. This extends not only to our students but also to our teachers and staff, who have excelled in various areas and contributed immensely to our vibrant school life.
I am particularly impressed by the collective effort made by everyone to improve our environment, helping create a happy and supportive space for learning and growth.
To our junior form students: This is your time to discover your interests and potential, and to realise them fully. Prepare yourselves for the opportunities and challenges that await you in the senior forms.
To our senior form students: Time flies, and soon you will be facing public examinations. Please remember, you are not alone—we are all here to support and guide you through every step of your journey.
As you know, I place great importance on effective communication. Only through open and honest dialogue can we work together effectively and make our school an even better place. In the coming year, I will continue to meet regularly with students, teachers, and staff, both formally and informally, including at our scheduled “coffee meetings”, which began last year.
Last but not least, as a Catholic school, we are committed to nurturing spiritual values. From this year onwards, our Principal, Miss Lin, will in addition to her own duties, take up the role of Head of the Spiritual Affairs Board and the Religious Education Department, with the support of our FMM Sisters. I am sure this new arrangement will further strengthen the Catholic values of our students, helping them to become caring, responsible, and valuable members of the society.
I am confident in our continued success this year, and I look forward to seeing and speaking with all of you.
God bless you all.
Mr. Chung Hung Fung Harry
Supervisor
