Join us in celebrating an exceptional achievement by our very own Rachel Qiu (邱瀟蝶) of Form 4B. Rachel has returned from the 10th World Junior Wushu Championships in Tianjin, China with a historic victory. Competing in the Youth Girls’ Sanda 52 kg category, she rose to the top of the podium and secured Hong Kong’s first ever gold medal in Youth Girls’ Sanda at the World Junior Wushu Championships. Congratulations, Rachel!
Rachel’s triumph helped the Hong Kong team finish first on the medal table with an outstanding total of 25 medals. We are immensely proud to see our student:
Represent Hong Kong, China on the world stage with grit and grace.
Make history as a pioneer for female athletes in the Sanda discipline.
Balance a rigorous Form 4 academic schedule with elite athletic training.
Success like this does not happen overnight. We extend our sincere thanks to the Hong Kong Sports Institute (香港體育學院). The professional coaching, excellent facilities, and steadfast support provided by the HKSI have been instrumental in helping Rachel reach this level of excellence.
Rachel, your dedication and perseverance inspire the entire school community. We are so proud of you.
